Experiencia: Según bases
University degree in marine-related field (e.g. ecology, biology, fisheries)
Minimum 6 years of work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in project management and grant management (support to third parties); particularly in marine management related projects.
Good knowledge and background experience especially in Mediterranean marine biodiversity conservation essential. Specific knowledge and experience on aspects of monitoring, climate change, protected areas and or links between biodiversity and fisheries an asset
Sound administrative/coordination skills for project implementation or in other initiatives, including contract administration, logistical coordination and event preparation, monitoring and evaluation, management and implementation of agendas, basic financial skills; report preparation
Track record of working as a team member as well as independently, demonstrating the application of initiative in problem-solving and trouble-shooting, creativity and flexibility
Fundraising experience in conservation or science/business based projects with conservation application
Proven experience fostering the implication of partnerships in marine conservation actions. Previous experience with an international NGO/multi-lateral or inter-governmental agency is an advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Fluent or high languages skills in English essential. French and Spanish an asset
Ability to work with people from diverse cultures and different backgrounds
Editorial ability of proven technical, communication outreach and administrative documents
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines and be flexible
Ability to travel regionally.

The annual gross salary for this position is 40.480
