As our EMEA Quality & HSE Coordinator, you will be performing activities related to Nexeo Quality Standards and Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
Maintain and Improve the Quality System, including the ISO certification for Nexeo EMEA:
Claims and Improvement actions follow up
Supervise and coordinate the areas of compliance assigned (including Reach and Product Stewardship)
Reach control on imports
Product stewardship responsibility (MSDS, Rohs, TDSs, documentation shelf life, migrations, regulations, )
Coordinate HSE activity for the headquarters (Barcelona) and support HSE activities for the local offices
Compulsory declaration to official entities.
Coordination of Safety service suppliers (updating workplace risk evaluation; prevention plan; evacuation simulation; Annual technical reports)
Coordination of local health service supplier (managing medical review for employees and producing Annual Medical report)
HSE reporting for EMEA
Lead the Barcelona office management
Engineering / Technical degree
Continuous Improvement expert
Experience conducting root cause analysis: data analysis, addressing customer complaints, coordinating corrective action
Mastery of the Quality tool kit (8D, FMEA )
Six sigma qualification desired (green belt or black belt)
Excellent people and communication skills
Ability to lead others and influence at various levels of the organization
Excellent reporting / summarizing skills
Strong project management skills in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong PC skills
Advanced Excel user (pivot tables and macros)
Access very valuable (not compulsory)
Strong in PowerPoint
English proficiency (it is the working language)
At least 5 years experience in Quality Management
Prior ISO certification experience : ISO 9001 expert (ISO 14001 experience desired)
Process improvement roles also valuable
HSE and Reach experience desired
Customer & Results Focused (very important)
Communication & ability to influence others
